Returning to the US without my VISA means I have to put my solo exploration of Europe on pause. As I look back, I am grateful for the lessons I learned while traveling abroad. While I'm excited to head home for my brother's wedding and to reunite with family and friends, I find myself reflecting on my journey abroad and what lies ahead.
Traveling abroad presented me with a remarkable chance for self-discovery and a deeper understanding of the world. By immersing myself in new environments and experiencing diverse cultures, I have expanded my perspectives and gained a profound appreciation for my own blessings. This transformative journey has taught me to trust my instincts, my intuition, and embrace the value of learning from missteps. These invaluable lessons will undoubtedly serve me well as I embark on the next chapter of my life.
I am yet to receive any substantial updates from the Portuguese Embassy regarding the status of my VISA, which leaves me uncertain about the duration of my stay in the United States, unsure of the timing, the extent of my travels, and the destinations that await me. However, I've realized that living life to the fullest isn't about having a perfect plan. It's about taking small steps towards our desires and embracing gratitude for what I already have. Along this journey of growth and learning, I'm learning to appreciate small victories, have faith in my abilities, and to be kind to myself.
So returning to the US "could" possibly mean the start of a new journey for me in the US. And although I aspire to continue exploring the world while finding meaningful ways to connect with my sons and grandchildren, serving as a source of inspiration, guidance, and support, some things are for sure; it is essential for me to strive for a well-rounded and healthy lifestyle, encompassing physical, emotional, and financial well-being.
My massage business has been a source of fulfillment for me, and I want to look at ways to turn it into an innovative spa that promotes wellness. I want to leverage social media to grow my business and I'm excited about the possibilities of creating a space for other entrepreneurs to grow and collaborate.
There is so much opportunity for me to grow and build and reinvent myself, I don't know where I will land but I hope you'll stay tuned in to find out.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. Who else is going through transition in life and what advice do you have for me or your fellow readers?
One quick stop in Budapest before I go.
